Guys.. we agree to disagree...and we always will. No matter what we think, the LSU administration is going to do what they want about Miles. Pumpers love him and are happy with good seasons... Negatigers hate him and prefer to win championships. There is NOTHING we can do about it. Its time for us all to unite for the player's benefit and talk positively while we try to finish this recruiting class on a positive note. We all love LSU...but we MUST have these last few blue chippers to finish strong...

I think it's funny because I'm considered a "negatiger" because I want to win championships.

Exactly. The LSU admin just did send a loud message to LSU football fans about how much we love Coach Miles -- the message is that we love him a damn fine bunch.

The message from Coach Miles to the NegaTigers should be -- Have a Great Day !

I like Miles and have been a "pumper" I guess this whole time. I would however like to win some championships in here somewhere. Too soon for me to talk abou the game, but damn. I cant take too many more of those.

In my opinion:

1) You're crazy if you want to fire Miles.

2) You're crazy if you don't think major changes need to take place offensively.

Again, my opinion.

I'm with you. 1/9 was it for me and Miles, but I still love LSU and will fight hard for the players and program. I hope Miles can finish this class well. He will need to to compensate for his coaching deficiencies..

It amazes me that people are ostracized here for wanting excellence for this great school and its football program.

Crazy shite.

I want to at least legitimately compete for championships and believe Les' best days at LSU are behind him. He has apparently become stupidly stubborn like Gerry DiNardo and steadfastly refuses to fix an obvious problem.

I havent gotten that vibe from the "10-3 is a great season at LSU....at least it's not the 90s" crowd.

It's crazy that winning 10 games in the HARDEST DIVISION, IN THE HARDEST CONF is considered a failure by many of our ENTITLED FANS. PERIOD.
A bunch of LSU fans need to only look at USC , Texas , and Auburn to see what bad coaching and just having talent gets you.

Posters that think LSU wins on talent alone are ignorant.

I'd say I fall somewhere between the spectrum of "posi" and "nega" tiger - closer to "posi."

That being said, I don't find myself necessarily "in love" with Les, trying to rationalize each and every questionable coaching decision/non-decision he makes, because that is impossible to do. He is Les Miles - no ones knows why he does things the way he does. I have just learned to live with it, and thus, I'm never in shock whenever suspect play calling/game management evidences on the field.

Do I feel the need to consistently be vocal about my disappointment? Not really - because I know that hundreds, hell - even thousands will take care of that department. While in no way am I "married" to Coach Miles, I still support him as our coach, just because I'm an LSU fan, and I'll stand behind who our guy is at the time. Conversely, I won't be devastated when he eventually leaves LSU.

Now, do I think it's time for a change with regard to the offense? Absolutely. We haven't had a top 50 offense since 2007, and it's been incredibly frustrating at times. It's not the fact that the offensive players are incapable, but rather the fact that opposing defenses can almost guarantee which play LSU is about to run. No matter who we have on our offense, execution will be difficult if this is the case.

In 2008, when our team surrendered a couple of losses in which we gave up 50+ points, the pressure from the LSU community prompted Les and the LSU administration to make a change on defense, and brought in the best in the business. There is no question in my mind that similar action needs to be taken with respect to the offense after this season.

Just my two cents.

Good god. Les's best days are behind him? 13 months ago he ushered in LSU's GREATEST SEC SEASON , EVER.
