I bet he thought Larry Coker was a fantastic coach. They were all his players!
Smoke Laval-They were all his players!

but they weren't all recruited by miles. you do understand that correct?
The main nega argument has been Les can recruit but underperforms. So he performed in 2007 so what's your point?

I wouldn't call having losses to Arkansas and Kentucky exceeding expectations. Lets be honest. We were the luckiest team in the country that year, especially to be playing in the title game after losing a few weeks before that.

Les had a bunch of players on the 2007 team that he recruited in the 2005, 2006, and 2007 classes.
that is obviously true.

The basic thing I typically hear us that as much stupid shite as he does, they have no idea how hee manages to keep fooling kids into coming to LSU
He's been to 2 BCS championship games and puts guys in the NFL at an enormous clip. If anyone doesn't understand those are the 2 things recruits want to hear they're an imbecile

lost in this pissing match are the embarrassing moments that should never happen......and the frequency of such! that alone serves to discredit.....

you can't brag about this and then make excuses for how "young" the team is

Last time LSU ate a shite sandwich of a season, the problems got fixed.
No they weren't (I assume you're referring to '08). Miles was traumatized by '08's turn over fest and it's reflected to this day in our approach to O.

to be fair, theres a lot more than just Ws and Ls that goes into the devotion they pledge.

your are 100% right....recruits want to hear that andd they have been listening...so he is getting therecruits...BUT MY GOD IS HE FAILING MISERABLY WITH THEM
we were abosltuely stacked last year and finsihed like 14th in the country....the man is likeable and can recruit, but he cannot coach period

I haven't. Quit making things up to bolster your weak position

I don't understand why Positigers are so upset by this article and discussion.
The author poses completely fair points and questions.

I think this is the most legit (even moreso than clock management) gripe of the nega's
We don't develop the talent we recruit at all it seems.

Because they repress their anger and reality/acknowledgement only puts salt in that wound.

And it's not just Miles, it's all coaches who get paid ridiculous amounts of money and can't deliver.
Heck, even Nick Saban, the man who has won 4 NATIONAL TITLES, got shite from his gaffe in the Iron Bowl last year. Heck, he's catching shite for the Ole Miss game!
No one is above reproach. If you can't handle the high standard, then return the check.
The article is fair and balanced.

That doesn't seem so much to be a middle of the road or neutral argument as it seems to be a split personality arguing with itself.
Which I think is fine for this message board. Do we really want everyone being in the middle? How boring would that be. I think watching the negatigers and the positigers, the shite pumpers and the sunshine pumpers attack each other is probably preferable. At least it gives me some chuckles.

You can't use comprehensive statistics to support your opinion. I can.
You have no model of "comprehensive statistics" to assess coaching success and your claims are but empty rhetoric. You were refuted in previous threads.

Saban should be questioned! Bama is what, 4-3 in their last 7?
And have lost every big game dating back to Auburn last year?
There is no reason not to ask "what's wrong?"

I would just love to see Les not be able to be diagnosed by lay persons on play calls and stop doing stupid shite. That would do a lot for me personally.
Combine his record of success with more unpredictability and fewer gaffes, and he's that much better!
