State. We’re in the stands and we’re killing them. I want to let them off the hook and leave but State finally mounted a drive. They all wanted to stay and we pick off a pass and go like 80 for a TD. They were all ready to go after that.
Need help with the year and who made the pick please
RIP my Cousin/ little bro.

It was 1988 and Greg Jackson. I was 12 and remember it like it was yesterday. 100 yard INT return for a TD.

A legitimate football stud. He was dominant.

Funny how I remember those games as a student more than now. RIP and good to hear you have your priorities straight.

Greg Jackson. I was there. In Jackson MS if I remember correctly.

I was at that game. I remember because the kick off time was changed and we missed the entire first quarter. It was a pretty dull game up until the pick.
It was in Starkville.

As a jumping off point, you could crib from a short article by David Brooks called Eulogy Versus Resume Virtues. I heard another person in your situation reference it and always thought if I have to deliver a eulogy I would do the same. Sorry for your loss.

Greg Jackson is the Giants player who tackled Emmitt Smith separating his shoulder in the epic performance.
Just a little worthless knowledge moment

It looks like you have your answer. I will add that the TD covered the spread … putting a few bucks in the pocket of at least one LSU freshman.
