Said he was terrible and showed Kelly was sticking with his BBQ buddies.

Yea their 180 is pretty funny on this.

There are many ND fans that are not very pleased with this hire, check out NDNation.com for your more seasoned ND fan perspective.

Notre Dame fans tend to be an emotionally insecure bunch.

I don’t hate that Denbrock is moving on. I wanted him gone after year 1. I think JD and the WR core this year improved so much and it overshadowed Denbrock’s mediocre play calling

LSU fans use to say Brian Kelly was overrated every year.

I like Denbrock. Not sure if he’s a game changer for ND though. To me kinda feels like Freeman is feeling some pressure to have an adult in the room with him

No way not LSBoosie being a contrarian in another thread!

He's gone from Kelly's desperate yes man back up hire to greatest offensive mind in the game.
Truthfully, they don't even care what it means for their offense. Deep down they know they will never win a national championship. They are just happy that he was hired away from LSU.

Before he was hired you could count the number of times he got mentioned here on one hand.

Sounds like some of the LSU bunch on here!

ND fans also said BK was overrated. His last 5 seasons there, he lost a total of 9 games. Marcus "Chemical Peel" Freeman, in 2 seasons, has managed to lose a total of 8 games - to both Marshall and Stanford no less. We all remember they couldn't get 11 men on the field against Ohio State...and those Louisville and Clemson games.

The problem with Notre Dame, they can't have Coach Brian Kelly as their head coach, so they want Brian Kelly's assistant. It's the closest way for them to keep the spirit of Brian Kelly at Notre Dame alive. Unfortunately there's only one Brian Kelly and he's at LSU and he's not leaving.

We laughed at Kelly before he came here

yeah because ND fans are the most spastic retards you can find.
Imagine being a fanbase that sees themselves as the top of the food chain but hasn't won anything since the Berlin Wall came down.
You have to wear blinders to root for that program.

His biggest value for them is stability and being able to recruit off the success of Daniels and co last year
3rd OC hire in as many years for Freeman. He is a perfect fit for what they wanted, which is why they broke their usual MO and opened up the bag for him

Now they're on Twitter acting like they hired prime Bill Belicheck.
What a joke of a College lol
