Still early for the BK era but remember what the ND fanbase warned us about? Not an elite recruiter, mishandles qb situations, teams not prepared in big games, not enough emphasis on special teams. The 3 game UF, OM, and BAMA span last year has been the anomaly so far. Outscored 133-77 in last 3 losses. A lot remains to be seen but can’t ignore what has already happened also. Must say last night was first real concern moment for me and after watching his presser even more so. Time will tell…….

They also think the guy who lost to Marshall and Stanford is the second coming of Christ.

I’m not interested in the scorned lovers opinion on their ex.

He was 54-9 there his last 5 years and if you’re old enough to remember he rebuilt their program from national joke to national contender.

He was 8-5 his first 2 years there then broke through year 3. Won almost 80% of his games from year 3 on.

They are just like any other gullible fan base. Remain optimistic, ignore the signs, and choose not to speak the truth until the coach is fired or gone. LSU fans are the same.

They also warned us he couldn’t beat Bama, and yet he did just that already in Year 1.

It was only impressive because the previous 3 before him couldn’t even get wins

WTF are you talking about LSU fans are the same? Our fans call for firing a coach if we trail at halftime.

I was concerned after the Tenn loss last year and the idiotic 4th down calls one being on our side of the field that gave them a score before half. The concerns are now back. Start kicking fricking fgs

How is that an anomaly IF IT WAS HIS FIRST SEASON.

With his current recruiting, he’ll be lucky to go 8-5 in year three in the SEC. He brought his same bullshite approach to roster management at ND and it’s blowing up in his face

Given the restrictions in place, both self inflicted and circumstantial, it’s not reasonable to expect any coach to win National Titles at Notre Dame except for maybe Saban. Maybe.

Yeah Florida State uses the same strategy and probably pays less than we do. They definitely don’t pay more.

Travis, Verse, and the rest of them came back because they got big money to do so. They are running the same model we are but are a year or two ahead.

With the schools that overpay for high schoolers, it will probably work for some and others will completely implode.
