I think Tennessee’s behavior, flipping people off, cussing umps, and everything else they have been doing has a lot to do with it. NCAA decided to crack down before a clear the Benches brawl broke out in Omaha.
The over the top celebrations were the start and it was going to end with someone getting rung up with an aluminum bat if they were not careful.
