I think UCLA will be the 16. Almost seems they got benefit of the doubt over the other teams for that spot for being on the west coast. Southern Miss should be seen as a stronger seed than them.

We are throwing Anderson or Eyanson game 1. Jay does not mess around. We started a guy that is at least in the argument of the greatest arm college ball has seen against a 17 win Tulane two years ago.
Jay just wanted both options open to see if he wants to go righty or lefty pending the opponent.

Only time I remember that for sure had to do with BYU being in the regional because they do not play on Sundays due to religion.

USM does have the better Q1 record of the two, but the Q1/2 records are pretty similar. I can see the argument for UCLA at 16.

I can make a claim for a lot of 2 seeds not being easy draws. Clemson has not faired well in their big series so I’ll take them in the box. Big 12 isn’t the big 12 of old so I’ll take Kansas also. There are some other 2 seeds that I rather not see more. But avoiding and SEC team, especially Tennessee with Doyle game 1, ole miss, or Florida st in a super is even tastier to me.

You think we get top 8 ? If so choices of who may be sent here. I don’t see any Oregon or Oregon states again this year. By them hosting it keeps those west coast teams out west.

I remember a poster last season or even the season prior coming on here and giving us the matchup way before it was announced. I wonder if that will happen today.
