...which wouldn't be all that scary but for the worry that LSU's administration is going to end up firing Wade AFTER all the quality potential replacements are picked over.

We're gonna have Ed 0 2.0 here. Ton of SEC schools make home run hires and we hire some goon from within.

This administrations best bet would be to let the April 22nd trial play out before deciding Wade’s fate. They already made the mistake of suspending him. Don’t double down until we know the facts, which won’t be until after the trial is complete. You don’t want to make another mistake by prematurely firing him and then finding out he didn’t commit any violations.

IF Wade gets fired and a new coach is hired from within it will be Heiar, he's been the main scout the entire time he has been here and is just as responsible if not more for this team's success in the postseason than Benford.

Seems like a good hire, and I like him, but he's never been at a major college and was coaching high school 5 years ago.

Supposedly Heier doesn't want to be a head coach.
He's certainly the best coach on the staff though.
