luckily some of us have cool wives who drove down to LP field and picked up good tickets right at the box office.

If this were the OT, I would ask for pics…

Instead, I will congratulate you on your choice of wife!

And I think the turnout from LSU fans to this bowl is going to shock the negative Nancies around here who are griping about the game.

Yeap. People will realize that most LSU fans aren't hanging around all day complaining about the team and Miles on a message board. Just a minority that likes to bitch a lot. The Rant is a poor indicator of the typical Tiger fan.

Not a stretch to think some of the alottment is being sold to Notre Dame fans. Add in around 1100 for the band, players' tickets, coaches' tickets, AD and University Admin allotment, the numbers don't look so outstanding. Just saying.

I'm surprised but pleased that ticket sales are going well. That said, when you think about it, 8K isn't a whole lot of tickets to sell. I remember not so long ago when LSU routinely had to ask for additional bowl tickets. If memory serves, we sold about 25K tickets to the 2011 Cotton Bowl.

LP will be mostly empty like nearly every other bowl game, unless a "home town" team is playing. TV has ruined bowl season with ridiculous ticket prices and game times

I couldn't decide between 119 & 120. 120 was only one section over but 10 rows closer to the field

No surprise...tics going fast here in Nashville at LP field too. This is the biggest name team matchup EVER in the history of the Music City Bowl and the first time ever with a ranked team. The city is exuberant about it. Trust this bowl game will be very well attended.
