According to the list they had on CFB on Fox, LSU was listed as having the 3rd most talented team in the SEC behind Bama(1) and Georgia(2). We had 6-five stars and 43- four stars. Bama had 14-five starts and 60-four stars and UGA had 19 and 47. It seems like it’s not a matter of having talent, but more so the top 2 having way more than everyone else. That’s a huge gap between 1,2 and the rest of the pack.

LSU has lost more talent than most have on a team. LSU will all the present losses of players, is NOT one of the most talented teams presently. LSU doesn't have single Oineman that would make bama or ga's 2nd team. That is not having talent where a team most needs it. Our QB talent is young but not one of the better qb's in college....just above average. Our LB's are below average talent, and our present CB's are young but maybe b at this point in their career. LSU will recruit well again with a good coach and not lose so many players with a top hire.

Sorry, I don't see the talent outside of the Boutte, Stingley, and Ricks. No one else on this team will be playing on Sundays. Hope I'm wrong.

People think we have the same talent as Alabama Georgia and Ohio St. that’s false. But we do have the same talent as the rest of the top ten. That is enough to win it all every year. Our trenches are the reason we aren’t good. It’s been that way since 2015 and on. Doesn’t matter what formation you run, if you don’t dominate the line you won’t win much.

It’s why O was fired. You don’t think we have more talent than UCLA and Auburn? Easily. I’d say more than Kentucky too but it’s closer to even with the injuries we had.

Overall, the talent is definitely there. It is young talent that is being misused or underutilized. Having most of your defensive backfield out for the season is rough for any program....add to that 2 D line guys who have significant playing time out for the season as well.

The offense can survive Boutte being out. But, Peetz needs to settle on an established corps of receivers. I know it's an embarrassment of riches at WR but you cannot keep changing the whole corps every play/ series.

LSU doesn't have the talent... on the offensive line. Put Bama's OL in P&G and LSU is undefeated.
