I just hope O does not make the decision -leave that to the OC

According to this logic... Cam Lewis should be the starter at Safety, right? What about Jontre Kirklin. He has waited his turn too... he should be WR#1, right?

we better have the best OL we have had in a while with everyone returning

Not quite -Dare Rosenthal transferred to UK. Plus the OL was pretty awful (not just the OL) last year so they’ll have experience & better continuity but there a far cry from being the “best we’ve had in a while”!

The team will make the decision for Ed O. That's how it always goes. Every time there is a QB battle, the winner is always very apparent to the team. Just like the winner is this time too. As Ed O and the entire locker room already know the winner is Max Johnson. Hell, even Myles Brennan knows too.

Well, take off that yellow vest and let our guys hit him a little and he will become developed that pocket awareness quickly.

Add in the fact that Myles was not the reason for any losses at the beginning of the year and he was improving rapidly across those three games (near record pace). It just makes sense, particularly with Howard showing up next year.

Happy feet in the pocket means nothing. Have you watched Peyton Manning’s feet in the pocket?

Pocket awareness and happy feet have nothing to do with each other.

And let’s please stop with the threads on this. There’s nothing left to say

How the frick does your retarted arse know who is the guy that the team wants?

I like Myles and hope it’s him if he’s looking good ,but I get the feeling it may be max for mobility reasons. That ten yard scramble saves so many drives.

You don’t know shite though

Threads like these make this board unreadable at times. Often the insights are great here. Then you get a run of the most unimaginative regurgitation of bad takes, misconception, and lazy analysis and it makes you wonder how many trolls are on here just trying to either make LSU fans look bad or drive away intelligent discussion.

It's been stated over and over again that that if you listen to the original quote from O in context, he was clearly saying that when the time comes to name the starter, it is usually clear to everyone in the locker room who it will be. Yet, we still hear this BS that everyone but apparently the quarterbacks themselves have known for some time who it is and that and all of this fake competition is just the staff playing games and trying to manipulate them. Really? Or worse, that if we aren't playing games and trying to deceive and manipulate our quarterbacks, then we should be. Yeah, that will play really well next time O is in the living room trying to convince a parent to trust him with their kid's future.

How about it is what it is? There's a quarterback competition, it's currently neck and neck, and as much as reporters try their best to twist what is said in order to get more clicks and fans want to know who it will be, we're going to have to wait to see how it plays out.

Also, as fans we should appreciate every player in that locker room who is committed to being a tiger and helping this team be better. Sure, these kids need to have chest, thick skin, and not allow what idiots say on a message board affect them. But that doesn't mean that people on here shouldn't try to be more careful of what they say and how they say it from the player's perspective before they hit submit. It's called common decency.

he has "sauces"
quote:

My source is a podcast host dedicated to following LSU sports. He has astronomically far more credibility relative to an actual dumb low-information ignoramus like you. Furthermore, both Josh Booty and Rohan Davy, (who until just recently was in the Myles Brennan will be the starter camp), both say the same thing too. Not to mention there others like Lonn Phillips Sullivan who also reports the same thing. However, I don't consider Sullivan to be as credible as Blake Ruffino.
oh and for the record Blake ruffino is the host of AYS podcast, which is the podcast he is referencing in that quote.
