Thought I heard he was graduating this summer.

Hope so.

JB9 was basically a full time QB. Took a few online classes but his real job was QB study and film breakdown.

That is a key.

Get your QB graduated then enroll him in a bunch of online grad classes so he just lives at the football ops building.

Brennan needs to follow suit so he can live at the football ops building.

That’s what I’m talking about! Study film and eat gumbo all day to gain some more weight. I do feel better about him going forward with Chase and Marshall. I just hope with the four oline starters we are losing they can protect him.

As we saw this year tho.. scheme, play calls has a lot to do with o line protection

Everyone here bitched and o line was a big question mark.. and they won the damn o line award

The good news is the "new" starters will likely be Dare (had plenty of playing time this year with Charles' different suspensions), Hines at Center (played a ton last year), and an incredible 5 star Kardell Thomas who has had a year in the system to at least get the playbook down.

Ingram and Deculus on the right side are going to kill some people.

Burrow Got his Bachelors degree AND a Masters degree in 4 1/2 years. And did it with SEC and B1G Scholar Athlete honors.

Scheme does play a huge part in the O line, plus the QB
recognizing the rush. While our line has been hasn't been great for several years, they weren't as bad as they looked.
When the defense knows whats coming they can load up, where the O line has to line up about the same no matter the play. Also, our QB's have had no pocket awareness. So many sacks have happened where if they had moved just a small amount in one our two directions, they would have bought time.

Only works if the guy has the comprehension skills to pull this off. Burrow may have been that one in a million.

Just because Burrow was successful doing things a certain way doesn't mean Brennan can duplicate. Burrow is a once in a generation type of cerebral player. He processes things like no other qb ever has on the college level. Thinking Brennan can even come close to doing the same is ridiculous.

He will graduate in May and will follow Joe Burrow's path in mastering the offense.

Someone posted a short clip of Brennan's highlights at LSU. The interesting thing is the comment from Aschoff of SECN at the 1:15 mark.

There are different levels of success. Brennan doesn't need to be Burrow. But, honestly, the OP is right. Graduating will considerally increase the steepen curve for him.

Rosenthal is the key. If he takes a step forward and can have a year like Charles did, OL will be very comparable to last year.

He'll be bigger than Joe soon. Only the foolish teams will be underestimating Brennan....

Looks like he’s going to graduate with his degree in 3 years per this thread. That’s a good start

Many outsiders overlook how many offensive lineman played significant minutes in 2019.

Our Oline will not drop off at all.

The returning D lineman combined with our recruits on the Dline.. we will likely have a better Dline in 2020 than 2019. Especially after 5 or 6 games.

WR and Defensive backfield will be as good or better

Line backers and the rush OLB will be the key to a great defense vs a good defense
