I agree. He looks like a QB now.
Release the hounds!
After this year of course.
And let him play some in the easier games.

There have been skinnier QBs. He throws darts. If he can avoid making bad decisions he’ll be fine.

We will find out pretty quickly when the season starts. If Burrow is running quite a bit, then the coaches believe Brennan is ready.

He said he’s eating upwards of 6,000 calories a day..that boy is eating. It’s just not easy for some people. Coming from a guy who has a very similar body type

This QB weighs in @ 205. Maybe 195 if he cut his hair.

Never be a starter unless burrow gets hurt

Burrow wont even be a factor. He will have two more years after Burrows leaves and will be competing with Peter Parish and what ever true freshman we sign in the 2020 class. As of right now he is the betting favorite to be the starter for the 2020 season (-130 odds on favorite to start the first game of 2020 season). If he remains the starter through out 2020 then he most likely is the starter for 2021 as well.

Trevor Lawrence was a 5 star stud who has the nuts of a bull to stand in the pocket to take a lick. He also has enough mobility to run some read option.

What makes you think he’ll play?

To quote Tommy Lee Jones in Captain America:

"He's still skinny!"

The physical/mental difference between the Clemson and LSU OL's is massive; like an NFL OL compared to a JUCO OL...…...

Hodson also played at the beginning of color tv era and before cable TV. Things have changed just a little bit since then, including the size of defensive front 7 players

then why did our coaches not see it, when they ran out immediately after spring practice seeking a transfer? They knew Brennan wasn’t the guy.

Time will tell if he develops into the guy, but I think last spring was his golden opportunity

said before, I doubt he'll ever start for LSU. Last spring, the stars were aligned for him to take the starting job, since the other two QBs weren't SEC QBs. And Brennan couldn't do it. It's why the coaches ran out immediately after spring practice desperately seeking a transfer.

Can Brennan improve - sure. But I think any improvement will be marginal, not transformative. And I don't think it will be enough to turn him into an SEC QB.

And his weight has nothing to do with

What do you base your enlightened opinion on? Could it be the hints that Coach O keeps dropping concerning Myles about him being a championship QB for the tigers? Have you been keeping up with his development? What brought you to this conclusion? Was it simply because he wasn't ready last year? You do know that young players develop and get better year to year. Everybody better hope that he's ready, it could be the difference between a phenomenal season and a so-so season.
