I am a firm believer that you should not start in the SEC until at least your 3rd year

You're just use to poor QB coaching/development here at LSU. It doesnt take a kid 3 years to figure it out. These kids come out of high school more prepared to play nowadays.

What did Rohan Davey or Matt Flynn show you in their first 3 -4 years in the program that would have led you to believe they would have been successful when they got the job?
28-14 and 40-3 Peaches?
Davey beat Top 10 UTk also as Jr iirc.

It would be nice if this were true. It is just not true. Maybe one or two a year are ready to play with the big boys.

I heard from a sauce that his size, weight and build was a concern

If he can sling it well it shouldn't really matter since he isn't a runner. Scouts were saying the same thing about Jared Goff and look how that turned out.

I’m a MB fan and surely wish him the best but I do not believe he will ever be a starter for LSU and will likely transfer. Peter Parrish will push for the back up position next year, redshirt if he plays in 4 games or less and will be the starting QB the following year once JB is gone. MB simply does not have the physical attributes to compete in the SEC.

The problem, he was all skin and bones when he entered the program.

That wasn’t the biggest problem with Brennan.

He now has nearly 2 years in the LSU system (moffit) and has seemingly worked his arse off to develop, yet still remains very slim and has achieved minimal gain in muscle mass. Again, I wish the kid the best and will be the first to admit it if I am wrong.

A guy weighing 225 and being 6'5" is pretty big. By comparison,

Im talking about over his life span not his college years.

I doubt he gets over 210 while he's in college. He just doesn't have that body type.

I guess not many of you read the articles at the bottom of the page...

Ed Orgeron Comments On An Injury Myles Brennan Has Been Dealing With This Season

Head coach Ed Orgeron revealed Monday that backup quarterback Myles Brennan has been dealing with an injury that has affected his throwing throughout the year and kept him from playing this season.

Orgeron said that he has spoken with Brennan and his father and all parties involved are fine with him redshirting this season.

Orgeron added that Myles can be a "championship quarterback" for LSU in the future.

there are a plethora of people on this board with their heads squarely up their asses....

O mentioned he had gained weight in his press conference. Not sure how much though

We also heard this was the most conditioned LSU team. Yet we still have guys that can't gain weight and some fat fricks that can't lose it.

I don't see Brennan as a starter ever unless Burrow gets hurt this year. LSU needs to go out and find a good QB. Maybe a jc player.

Well most new QBs or players are evaluated from our eyes based off what the did at the level prior to. He was amazing in HS so that is all we can go off of. He isn't that big though. I'm sure you have it all figured out though...!

Since he hasn’t played any this season, I am suspicious that he will ever see the field.
He's already injured and hasn't seen the field.

How do you think he'd hold up behind this legendary bad (For LSU) OL. He'd be destroyed.

A RS year this season is exactly what he needs. Moffitt has got to put some muscular weight on him so he can hold up to the rigors of SEC DL/LB pounding on him.

Better get some OL's in here ASAP that can protect the QB, run block, pass block and learn their reads/assignments at an SEC West Championship level. Nothing will change until that happens. (Doesn't matter who the OC is)

The Bill Walsh and Joe Montana duo couldn't do much with this Offense with the current OL.

Thanks Les and Jeff for leaving the OL cupboard empty of SEC Championship quality OL's.

Gregg is up to the plate. What's he going to do to fix it? Hit a Grand Slam or strike out looking in the bottom of the 9th with the bases loaded?
