You can hear the pressure he’s under in his voice. I think he will be great, I just hope he hasn’t mentally overworked hisself

Great interview & insight into our young QB. Thinking he will struggle a little early in the season, but settle down & find his rhythm. He has patiently waited his turn and it’s time to backup his bs.

I see Myles first season being similar to Joe’s first season. The coaches will try and protect him some at first, knowing that his confidence can be shaken if he starts with interceptions and low completion rates. He will be asked to make safe throws and more RPO type plays with quick slants and outs. The running game will be more pronounced than last year. As the season progresses, Myles will be asked to do more and by November he will be utilizing the entire play book.

His second season will be his real chance to shine as long as he doesn’t have his confidence broken. We have seen quarterbacks have their confidence ruined in the past at LSU. We can only hope that the coaches prepare Myles in a way that utilizes his strengths while not asking him to do more than he is able to do as a quarterback making his first career starts.

Your mistake is that you don't know Steve Ensminger. The Tigers are going to come out in game 1, and in game 2 against Texas, like their hair is on fire. Slinger is going to sling it, and you can take that to the bank.

It would be wise if Brennan to copy everything that Burrow did.

No it wouldn’t. Like a previous poster said, not everyone learns the same way.

Do you think Burrow is the only successful QB in the history of football? Do you think he did things the exact same way that every other QB in history has done it? No. I’m sure he did what worked best for him.

What is important that Myles learned from Burrow is the work ethic and the importance of working just as hard off the field (if not harder) as he does on the field. Hopefully he learned how to read defenses from him. Hopefully he picked up on the importance of leadership from the QB position. But it will still be important for Myles to figure out his own leadership style and how to be effective with it.

Ultimately, he is not Burrow. And what will get him in trouble and not performing his best is to try and be just like Burrow instead of being the best version of himself.

I maybe the only one but I am expecting a big year in 2020. I think it is well in the realm of possibility to return to the CFP.

I didnt get that sense at all. To me he just sounds like a guy oozing with confidence and grateful that it's his time to be able to get out there lead this team and show that there wont be the big drop off after Burrow that most will expect.

I'm cautiously optimistic. I wasn't as much before watching this interview.

His head is in the right place. He's trying to get his body in the right place. All I have to see is him demonstrate that winner's edge, or competitive edge now. The JB9 get creamed then get up and run one right up their arse x factor that electrified the team on both sides of the ball.

We need him saying, even if it is to himself what JB9 said about other teams, that playing those games was like going in to take a test and having all of the answers already. The confidence he and the team will get from that is what wins week after week.

I’m thinking 4 grand in yards 35Tds is minimum for this guy in 2020.

Jumping ahead of myself but it sure is going to be a hell of a ride because I think after a great season he will be a first rounder after this year. He has everything you want from a QB and believe some will be thinking he has a higher ceiling than Joe.

Great time to be a Tiger Football fan

Might be wrong but I've been on the Miles train from the beginning. His post last year 2018 about being grateful to learn from Joe said tons about his character. Joe basically took his job but he recognized the opportunity.

His HS stats are off the charts. 69% completion rate senior year, and you know HS receivers dropped lots of balls. 48 TDs, 3 Int. Yeah he's accurate.

He saw how much Joe grew from first to second year as starter. I think he is mature enough to stay two years.

Finally, our D will be light years better than last years. Bo had us in the top 5 nationally for 3 straight years. I think we were 35th or worss. So Miles will have help from the D that Joe didn't have. 11-1 or 12-0 is what I see. Just want to beat Bama, two in a row baby.
