Brennan quietly had a great season whenever he came in with the backups towards the end of games, made the most of the time he had with the backups

I think he shines next season

We get caught up in Joe throwing 5600 yards, in totality, LSU surpassed 6k yards passing this year!

I honestly thought it was going to be just victory formation kneels.

He's going to be very good. Shades of Mahomes.

I have no doubt in his throwing ability, I'm more concerned with his scrambling when the pocket collapse.

He was a pretty decent runner in HS.

First set of highlights vs ga southern with Aschoff reporting hit me in the feels. RIP.

Brennan’s movement in the pocket makes me a little nervous. His footwork isn’t a calm and reassuring as joes, but he definitely is at least the third best QB we’ve had at throwing a football since like 2007.

Leadership, Poise, Accuracy, Reading Defenses, Check Downs and throws on the run are what made Joe so much better than everyone else.

Hope Brennan steps up big time in those departments next year! He has the arm and I think the legs to do it.

He looked good in the limited time. I think he’s learning to control that freaking cannon he’s got. He seems more than willing to check down and take what the defense gives him. But need to get him a better shotgun center to help with timing.

Also Mcmath is gonna be a beast. He’s great after the catch

C’mon dude. You’re now comparing him to the best QB in the world right now. I’m not even sure we have seen enough of Myles to compare him to anyone yet. He’s going to be a great QB, but slow down on the Mahomes comparison.

I’ve wondered if he and the WRs will do the drills all summer like Joe did?

Did I ever shite on him? No. I said that comparison is off for the time being.

Ready to see what Brennan can do with that cannon arm on more medium/deep routes. Most of those were 5-7 yards.

4 things I noticed.

1. Brennan looks relaxed in the pocket.
2. He scanned the field and went through progressions.
3. He has some wiggle and decent scrambling ability.
4. He has a cannon with a lot zip.
5. Jaray Jenkins may surprise some people next season. Brennan seemed to target him a lot and he’s a lot faster than I thought he was.

His speed looks pretty comparable to Burrow. Quicker than I expected.

I know a lot of that was in mop up duty but my biggest concern with Burrow leaving is replacing his feet. Brennan showed some nice pocket presence and had some nice runs in those clips.

He's been good doing it before.

Find his senior highlight video. Watch it and then tell me if you think he can move, avoid the rush and throw on the run or not.
