someone in this thread said so. i'm just saying people have been known to throw out "ncaa rules" like they know what they’re talking about but it turns out they’re wrong.

I would think NCAA rules during reg season play are more of guidelines when it comes to a lot of things.. However they follow the letter of the law very closely when it comes to the tourney play. Thats why they have a diff set of rules issued out. I wouldnt think they would care much about what the fans do as much as what the university follows.

So, back to the topic at hand, it looks like we're already getting some of the items on the wish list.

Water fountains - done
Intimidator - in the works
SEC school flags - requested
pitch count and speed - possibly

Will the Museum / Hall of Champions or whatever the hell they're calling it be open next season? If so, will this year's trophy be there?

I don't think even the PMAC has cash registers. I have worked multiple basketball and gymnastics meets and from what I rmr, we had to do everything in our heads and just put the money into a tray. We did it as part of a honors fraternity so adding 2 numbers wasn't all that difficult, but it does suck when u get stuck with these youth groups who can't add 3+9+4...but I guess it's all for a good cause

Huh?

The pitch count was on the Alex Box scoreboard all season.

See the photo in this link. The pitch count is at the top of the scoreboard, right hand side, above the inning-by-inning score.

The two things I hope they change are the cheap batters eye and the short foul polls. Nothing else really bothered me about the stadium.

Does anyone know if the concessions for baseball are bid out on a yearly basis? I see brother-in-law deal written all over it.

They would put it up for about 10 seconds after each pitch in the same place where the ball/strike count was. Then it would go back to the batter's count until after the next pitch.

There is a grass area between the new Box and the railroad tracks on the southeast side that would be perfect for just such a place.

This will be an RV parking lot next year.

Concessions are run by LSU's Auxiliary Services. There is no bidding process for this.
