I think we lose to A&M and go 8-4, it’s also going to be very difficult beat Auburn in Jordan-Hare

The sneaky potential loss on this schedule that no one seems to be talking about is Tennessee.

Not saying it’s going to happen, but I would not be shocked if Tennessee won.

I would like to beat the aggies as well, I just don’t think we go into Kyle field and win this year, they’re a talented team

I agree with 9-3, but the 3 losses will be to Bama, Arky, and A&M

I don’t know if we’ll be good but I don’t see why Florida or Auburn has any confidence.

Auburn has no QB.

Their defense is getting worse every year. They lost Derek Masons they hated a guy I’ve never heard of and likely will never hear of again after his 1-2 year stint there.

Florida was trash last year and all of a sudden Anthony Richardson is getting talked about like he was good last year.

Clueless in 'rant land'!!
O-Line is a total revamp so no one has a clue. Hope and pray for 8-4

I believe this team will be the kind to strengthen as the season progresses. I can easily see them with an unexpected loss or two in September. Splitting October at 2-2. Then closing out November 3-1 possibly 4-0

Safe bet says 7-5 but I like your optimism so I'll throw on my P&G glasses too and say 9-3 as well

*all predicated on staying relatively healthy at key positions throughout the season of course

I guess it’s to be expected with the coaching/entire regime change, but this is the first time since 2000 I honestly have no clue how the season will play out.

Part of me knows that there is plenty of talent on the roster, but I also know how rudderless the program has been and especially how much the offensive line was in need of a total overhaul.

Bringing in Daniels to help offset that makes a ton of sense, so hopefully it won’t be the total season killer it could have been otherwise, but the work needed along the OL certainly limits the ceiling for this team imo.

October is going to be a huge test for this team and program as always, and truly nothing from 4-0 to 0-4 would surprise me. Ok 0-4 would lol but honestly it’s at least possible.

Auburn and Florida are certainly going through growing pains of their own and have plenty of issues with their QB situations as well, but both are on the road and we all know how that goes with these teams.

Getting Tennessee and OM at home is nice, but both of those teams are dangerous and have head starts under their exciting coaches. Hooker is a beast and is likely the best QB we face all year outside of Bama, and I fully expect Kiffin to have Dart playing at an elite level by the end of October.

Trying to predict how these games go at this point at least is pretty pointless. If anyone can remember the last time LSU Florida and Auburn all started the season unranked I’d love to know it.

But if things progress well through a very manageable September schedule from must and should win games starting with FSU all the way through a home SEC opener against Miss St (glad this game is at home because Leach and Rogers will be a very difficult challenge for our secondary once again) we should hopefully be ready to start seeing good things in October against four straight SEC teams that all have question marks of their own, but also plenty of potential to give us problems.

And we’ll need to hope things go well in that stretch, because November just doesn’t look great. It’s almost a certainty that unless we somehow look like world beaters in October that we’ll be sure to heavy underdogs in all three SEC games in November, and losing all three wouldn’t be a surprise. Arkansas is obviously the most winnable of the three, but it is on the road, with Bama and A&M tougher matchups at home.

That’s obviously not how we want the first year under Kelly to go, but unless we build up serious momentum through that October stretch, this team will simply be looking to play spoiler for three really good teams to close out the year on a positive note and give us something to look forward to in 2023.

Best case but very unlikely scenario is 10-2, with a somewhat realistic worst case of going 6-6 again same as last year.

I’m hopeful we can find a way to get to 9-3, which is generally par for LSU but would honestly be outstanding given the complete renovation and regime change. That would likely mean a very impressive 3-1 run in October plus a win over Arkansas or A&M, and we’d be looking great out of the gate under Kelly.

That is probably a more realistic best case, so I’d actually be pretty well satisfied with 8-4, which would probably mean splitting October then upsetting Arkansas or A&M. That would seem pretty damn good to me given how far we have to go to get the program back on steady ground with a completely new staff and likely a new starting QB that has only been with the program a few months. Even GOAT Burrow took some time to get acclimated after transferring in, so Daniels and his receivers will need work to get on the same page for sure.

This will truly be a one week at a time season, so bring on FSU, and I predict 1-0 to start the Kelly era for sure

I think tennessee has become a little overrated because of their exciting offense last year, they still have major roster holes and will be abysmal on defense. I do think they’re a dangerous team because they can score but could easily see them losing 5-6 games as opposed to their 2nd in the East projection a lot of places
