I hope this doesn’t mean that Damon Talley will be directing Tiger Band. While I agree that some of the halftime shows have been more entertaining, they are a shell of their former selves in terms of sound power. I can barely hear them when they play during games.

Tiger Band director Dennis Llinás leaving LSU for University of Oregon

Assistant director of Bands Kelvin Jones will serve as interim director, while graduate assistant Cliff Croomes will serve as interim assistant director.
Llinás was named Tiger Band director in 2016 following the firing of Roy King. The band gained national attention in September for its "Binge Watch" halftime show on Sept. 22. The band's rendition of "The Office" theme song prompted a wave of social media support from the show's cast.

This is a good thing. Hopefully they go out and hire the best director available but they probably won’t and will just remove the interim tag because the school of music doesn’t give a shite about tiger band. Sad to see
