Went with some friends who are LSU fans on their first trip to Fayetteville. Of course they wanted to sit in section 512 with a lot of other LSU fans. Made us stay the whole game. Pretty sure we were the only ones in red in our section by the time the game was over lol...it was brutal

Made my 1st trip to Fayetteville as well, had been to LR in the past.

Stayed at the Aloft in Rogers, 1 mile away from team hotel. Rogers is nice, clean, and new. UA campus is clean, will go back.

Took an Uber back to the hotel a few hours after the game, one of the neighborhood roads near the stadium was under construction. Uber driver tried to go off-road in a Corolla, was unsuccessful and reversed quickly.

XNA reminds me of BTR

Sounds like you did it right. I'd describe Rogers/Bentonville in that area as being similar to a smaller version of Frisco/McKinney. Everything is nice and new. Office buildings going up, most of the best chains and best shopping are in that area.

I hate that you only had chain food on Dickson, but I won't hate on Jimmy Johns. I've never even been to JJ's Bar on Dickson, but it seems fun. It was something different 6 months ago.

Fayettteville is a different town. Gameday is huge, but the city isn't all about football. I remember thinking as I walked back to Dickson after the game, passed a couple of street musicians and some folks with telescopes set up so others could view the "super moon" that it felt like I'd crossed a boundary somewhere on Old Main lawn.

Then four drunk-arse LSU fans spilled out of Brewski's yelling Go Tigers and the illusion was broken.

Little Rock was never a good example of our fanbase, especially not the past 10 years. It used to be more alumns and students, but it hasn't been that way for a long time.

I was in 111 as well Row 48. There was a pig fan up above me, 2 or 3 rows that kept saying, "frick Fournette right in the pu##y". There were kids around. After hearing this several times, I stood up and called him out. I inadvertantly touched a pig fan behind me, who got pissed and threatened me. I apologized. They left. It was the begining of 4th qtr
Anyway some other fans to the right of me also heard him raise hell and he was escorted out. Pig sooiee

I thought it was awesome as well.

Most all the Arky fans I encountered were very nice. There was the bad seed that got kicked out of the LSU section, giving the bird and saying F LSU as he's being escorted out.

Pretty much all piped in music the whole game. Great sound system and great big screen.

I thought their pre-game was super lame.

Yeah that dude was about as drunk as it gets. One minute he said Fournette was the best ever then went bipolar calling him names. Craziness

It was my first time also. The fans where very nice and got a lot of congratulatory comments and handshakes. It was nothing like attending the game in Little Rock.

What's the best option for flying in? My son and I meet for one road game a year and he lives in San Francisco.
JJ's looks like a reason to go!

Fayetteville fans are GREAT. Little Rock fans are not.

Went to the game in 2012 when Jarvis caught the one hander. Loved the town.
