Objectively, Smilin' Joe didn't do anything wrong at LSU...until the O hire.

"I am the search."

And now you are the hunted. The hounds are unleashed, and closing in.

I would not say happy with the hire but content with it because it seemed safe based on what he did last year.

An 0-8 season combines with an empty Tiger Stadium will cause major shake ups.

I’m not sure if O would survive but people start acting quickly when the heat is turned upon them. Meaning watch King and Alleva act quick if their neck is on the line

The way he handled the whole miles 2015 situation was awful. He gave in to temple and his buddies on hiring Johnny jones.

How about Stanley Jacobs?? I keep hearing he was the leak to Rabalais that screwed up the entire plan to file Miles after the A&M game in 2015 and hire Jimbo.

Why did Rabalais leak this? If true, he screwed the whole thing up!

A bad basketball hire wont get the President and AD fired quickly. Football will.

Basketball pays for itself, but football pays for just about everything with the exception of B-ball and baseball.

If Tiger Stadium is empty for the remaining SEC home game, it will cost LSU more than O’s buyout. 2 years empty will be really bad.

O will finish he year regardless, but 8.5 mill is a drop in the bucket if Tiger Stadium is empty for 2 straight years

I'm really surprised he got one shot.

I seriously misread the BoS and TAF. I didn't think there was any way they'd trust a cluck like Alleva to make the hire on his own. I figured they'd tell him who the guy was gonna be and that would be an end to it.

Journalist only care about protecting their access. If an inside source tells them to push an agenda they do it

King is not Emmert.

Emmert told Dean you are hiring Saban.

Yes, he was unemployed in 14and was a guest on Panomsky’s morning radio show. The show then began to open advocate for O for DLine coach. Then in 15 he gets the position and the propaganda chief started really pushing the Miles needs to go narrative. At the same time, apparently coaches started talking about being disgruntle. Looking back I believe this was lead by Wilson and O. Miles keeps his job. Wilson exits. If Wilson stays he would have become Interim coach. Miles faulters and O and Ponamsky pushed the coup. Ponamsky get a senior position in football ops. The dude knows nothing about Football. Then local media narrative was for O to keep the job immediately. Everyone knows the rest.

Bottom line is this was careful orchestrated plan. It’s more than O and Ponamsky, there is a section of Bos that likes having control over football. O and Panamosky basically gave them this opportunity.

Consider this Ponamsky is a convicted felon and basically bought his way into LSU through his “recruiting website” and then on to the radio.

I’m not saying it goes back that far with O, but Ponamsky’s goal since his conviction has been to get as close to LSU as possible. I never understood how a guy convicted of Fraud could get this type of job, but when you think about it. It does make sense.

With all do respect, if O is this good at making that happen. He should be a GREAT football coach. That is as thorough, well devised, organized plan. We haven't seen this type of preparation, organization, or attention to detail on the football field.
