Air conditioned home games in September & October, it'll never rain again in tiger stadium. Pretty good idea, huh?

A dude with <1000 posts criticizing Skillet? This thread is like Jordan Jefferson critiquing Drew Brees completion percentage

I've got more terrific LSU ideas but the initial reaction to my roof idea has me in a state of flux at the moment.

If that is the case, just put them on a bus to NOLA and let them play in that crappy arse Superdome.

Well it would be an engineering nightmare. We'd have to close in the north end zone first, then seal up all of the exterior faces. That's a lot of caulking. Then how would we keep the unsightly pvc pipes on the side of the building?

Proof that global warming is real, because back in Billy Cannon's day they never sweated and wore heavy uniforms...it was in the 50s at night for games. Come on, we all know Al Gore is right!

The schools in Texas and Florida don't do this.. Also the heat and humidity works to our advantage when teams like Washington play here.

I wouldn't go full enclosure. I would go more along the lines of Seahawks stadium or Washington Huskies stadium with the over hanges on the sides and the south end zone leaving the field exposed. That would shade a lot of seats.

I don't see how the older generations use to go to games in full suits to watch the games. I couldn't imagine sitting in that stadium with a coat and tie on. I sweat my arse of wearing shorts and Columbia shirt.

I've always simply wanted a "Super Structure" over the entire Tiger Stadium. Keep the sun and rain out.

Or and this may sound crazy, we start our game after the sun goes down.

It would never happen but I love the idea. I don't see how anyone in the East Upper or East side for that matter can sit there for a day game in Sept or Oct.
