You think this will be a big statement but it won’t make any difference. Plenty of people will fill those seats.
If you want to show them something, get everyone you know to keep their tickets this season but don’t go to the games. you should buy as many tickets as possible to ensure that those seats are empty every game. If you aren’t poor, shouldn’t be a problem.

My biggest issue is the official LSU athletics social media accounts posting numerous things supporting black lives matter and the BLM protests by its students. If students want to do that, fine, but the university should never support black lives matter.

I don’t think you understand the ideas you purport to be expressing. Socialism is the redistribution of wealth from the wealthy to the not wealthy. The form of college sports that you prefer is definitional socialism. The wealthy football and basketball teams are taxed to support the non-revenue sports.
