Why can't he go top 5?
2) RB is too dependent on the line; a good back with a great line will be better than a great back with a mediocre line... and will last longer too.
Both those facts make RB a complementary position.
Also, regarding Fournette specifically:
1) the Bama issue. He's going to face better defenses in the NFL, he needs to show he's willing to get the dirty yards instead of lingering back looking for holes that aren't there.
2) injury issue. He's been hurt this season. Sure, it could happen to anyone... but he also blasts into people instead of making moves, once he does commit. Those big impacts make him a bit of a risk to get nicked up more often, and might shorten his career.

I just don't think he's that attractive to a team with more pressing needs. My take is that teams drafting that high are teams that have to build, and you don't build around a running back. He's done by the time you get the rest assembled.
Now, he's prime tradebait- you might find a team with a good line and a QB in place, that might trade half their draft to add him into the mix.

The Panthers are going to draft Fournette. I know you poor Saints fans can't possibly fathom a franchise wanting to add a game changing RB to pair with a game changing QB but it's very possible. They're going to run all over your Defense for years to come.

Prediction: Seahawks trade the farm for him, have a 1st and goal from the 1 yard line to win the SB, and call an end around where Tanner McEvoy fumbles and they lose
