I think anyone who wants him gone after he won a second crystal ball is an idiot.
Say all you want about his speech, bonehead calls and gameday management. But if he were to win a second championship (even an SEC title) he would be able to shut up any argument about his ability as a coach.
This is wholly his team competing against the best coaches and arguably the best conference nationally. If he wins despite Crowton, Stud and wacky in game occurrences there can be no doubting his ability to win, even if it isn't pretty, even if it looks lucky.
BUT......he has not done it yet. If he does he will be the greatest coach in LSU history. There can be no argument otherwise if he wins it all.

There is absolutely no doubt about that. But the idiots on here will still argue. They just don't like the guy because he isn't smooth with a microphone. These are the people that like flashy things, cars, etc.....they don't care if they are a good buy or if they run well..they just want to be noticed.
Can you imagine a guy, in 6 years as a head coach here at lsu, winning 3 west Titles, 2 SEC Titles and 2 NC's and 4 top 5 finishes...and people want him gone...lol....yeah, that would have all the best coaches in the nation just tripping over one another to come to lsu....idiots.

Hey I like some flashy things!
Besides, those crystal footballs are pretty flashy aren't they?

It really sucks to be lumped in with the biggest idiot fanbase in College Sports.

They could be like me. Only work 2 days a week.
Wait, after further thought I do not have 1000's of post per year. I need to do more posting to become one of the elite.

I would question the fanhood and sanity of anyone wanting a coach gone immediately after winning a NC. I don't care who is coaching if the product on the field is acceptable.

the hate for this coach is becoming more and more fo a personal hate than a hate of his coaching because no matter what he does someone will find something to say about him. i think most of you are still butt hurt about saban and think if you fire the coach it will make you feel better get over it even if he doesnt have a season as good as last year i would be surprised to see him leave unless he quits because of all the idiots in out fanbase.
i love LSU football with a passion like no other but since coming to this board im starting to see why people characterise us as being big cry babys all the time because all you negative idiots cry about everything

There are examples of this in this thread. Its personal, and they don't even know the man. Anyone who would want a coach gone immediately after another NC is a f'kin moron of the highest order.
I am not happy with the product, but another NC would totally change my mind.

I fear that if we win a national title, we'll NEVER get rid of him.

Let's just hope Rich Rod gets canned and Michigan is dumb enough to actually hire him.

The rebuilding excuse is tired and can go either way.
Miles is inconsistent.
Miles has proven he cannot manage a game properly.
Miles has made some horrendously risky calls that just so happened to work in his favor.
But in your scenario he wins another championship...so if that happens, doesn't that refute everything you just said? Im so confused.
