Sad to hear man, prayers sent. I still think about my dad all the time. Remember the good times.

Sorry for your loss and best wishes to you and your family.
I'm glad you had that moment with your father. I shed tears in the Superdome that night at the end of the game remembering my father who passed away almost 4 years prior to the date.

Sorry to hear about your dad's passing. Some of my fondest memories with mine were spent on Saturday nights listening together to the voice of the Tigers John Ferguson.
Sounds like you had some great memories with your dad. Treasure 'em. And don't ever stop thanking God for them.

Sorry that you lost your dad. He is no longer suffering. Some of my fondest memories are going to sporting events with my dad.

LSU Tiger condolences. I remember the ball just rolling down the field as the seconds ticked off after punt. I
Kissed my now departed Grandma and gave her a big hug! That was a special day indeed! Good memories!

My dad died today after 2 years of suffering. I must admit, my fondest memory of him is sitting in the Superdome with him on January 4, 2004, watching LSU beat Oklahoma for the national championship. Had to post it.
Fontc, thanks for sharing. I can identify, my dad passed quite a few years ago and he too had suffered for a number of years. I found comfort in knowing he is now at peace and no longer in pain.
One of my fondest memories with my dad was sitting in the South EZ during the 1982 LSU-FSU game (winner to the Orange Bowl). Frozen oranges flying and fog rolling in over the South EZ. Enjoy your memories. God Bless.

My family's prayers are with you and your family. My Dad is 83 and I cringe knowing he will be gone at some point. Remember the memories with him and know you will see him again. God Bless.

Sorry for our loss. I recall the same day and place when I looked up and wished my Dad was still around to see the win over OU and the NC.

Sorry to hear that, may he Rest In Peace!

Condolences on your loss.
As so many others have said, remember the good times and be thankful your Dad is no longer suffering.

Sorry for your loss.
No sweeter memory in the world than a son and his mom or dad watching the Tigers together.
