I can see this happening, but I think you will see option, more passing, even to the RB's/TE's. If LF can get 100yrds conventional against them, it will be a win, no doubt.

Let them stack the line. Open up our play action game. We know Harris can sling it. Watch out for another flea flicker against bama

I think you are safe as long as LF7 does not miss the flight there!

just as importantly, the OL is better this year also.

One of the biggest improvements of the OL, is getting to a spot on-time at the second level (JDM too). Very important against a 3-4. Supremely important against Bama's 3-4. They read keys very quickly, react just as quickly, and know how to adjust that reaction to the blockers engaged with the DL (fill gap or leverage play to another spot).

I think this year I feel more confident about better OL than in past years. In other words, in the back and forth in the trenches I feel that more times than not that hole will close 3.5yds past LoS, not 1.5yds We may see more disruptive plays made by Bama's D in the backfield due to that sometimes, that's where BH6 comes in to keep the drive moving.

it's possible. if we hit the edges more than up the middle, then he will have more than 100

LF can finish with less than 100 yards AND LSU can still run for over 200 for the game. Both are not mutually exclusive.

LSU averages 309 yds/game, Bama gives up 78. Merely splitting the difference gets you to 193.

Also, even a front 7 as vaunted as Bamas will crack in the second half when wave after wave of Fournette/Guice/Williams hits it all game long...not to mention the fact that BH will have opportunities to scramble on passing downs.

Collectively, LSU will get theirs on the ground, regardless of who is on the other side of the ball.

PS-Hitting them with a little Donte Jackson/LF jet sweep option from time to time could be pretty effective as well. Gotta get them thinking and not automatically running downhill between the tackles at LF in obvious running situations.

I have a sneaking suspicion we'll start off with the toss to Fournette flea flicker. Been thinking that for awhile, even before I saw it ran against Florida.

Fournettes going over 150 with at least 2td's. Our O line and backfield are too good and too deep not to crack 200 yards or more rushing. Does your Bama friend live in an airstream on a rented lot?

I'll take it.

Jesus, when is this game gonna start? I just toured the inside of Tiger Stadium and am ready to run through a brick wall! I might need some Xanax on game day..

He had 79 yards LY and Fournett is better, our OL is better this year, our QB is better this year and our WR are better this year.

He will get 125+

I agree; in the first half. LF crashes through the 100 yard mark in the 3rd quarter and finishes with 150+, IMHO.
