My coworker said that the world was going to end in December of 2012...

Coincidence? I think not

I think it's possible, but not likely. Les will run at them, he runs at everyone. However, they will likely be throwing the ball more and that could bring Leonards touches down a little. I still don't think he touches the ball less than 20-25 times though. He will break 100. If he breaks 150, LSU will have dominated the game.

Well.. Not really.. They're just being dumb and going by their average, in essence calling LSU's rushing attack "average."
They gave up over 100 to Tennessee and Georgia. They would have to play an extraordinary game to hold LF under 100 (which would almost be 1/2 of HIS average).

Man, if I had a dime for every time someone said "stack the box."

Saban will stack the box

Maybe - and maybe on first downs a lot. However, Saban would prefer to defend from a base, neutral front - that's the whole point of the 3-4 - if you have the horses, you really have a flexible response to a whole range of offensive looks and wrinkles.

Stacking the box is just asking our burgeoning passing game to beat you. Maybe we can't, but if we passed on Florida, we can pass on Bama. The only qualitative advantage Bama has over Florida is linebackers.

With LF7 "stack the box" is code for "so you want a long run instead of a short 7 yard one?"

Yeah and he will take a few to the house also. All it takes is one move and boom, he gone

Why would that be so hard to believe? Have you seen the lows from historically superior backs?

Leonard has the potential to bust one to the end zone from anywhere on the field. They can stop him and stop until that one run when they don't, and that's when they pay.

He does realize that Fournette will get the ball 25-30 times, right? Possibly more. I will bet on 30 touches at least.

He thinks Bama will hold him to 3 YPC?

LOLZ

Supposedly Florida's "amazing" defense was going to slow him down too. Not happening.

He had 79 last year and he's way better than he was last year.

If we win the game...I don't care if they hold LF to 10 yards rushing.

I doubt Saban is going to stack the box much. LF broke a lot of big runs this year because of that reason. You break one tackle and he's gone. Bama has a good enough front seven that he'll at least attempt to see what they're capable of doing. In some ways playing the safeties out of the box is smart containment because once he has his gears going he's gone. Might make LSU get the TDs very patiently. The only way he's going to stack the box is every now and then guess or we're running all over them. He's not going to take the risk LF gets 6 breaking 1 tackle or giving BH easy throws.

Last year he rushed 21 times for 79 yards

3.8 per carry

I would argue we are better this year running the football and they are not as good up front as year's past

I predict he will get at least 140 on 27 carries

We're going to beat them and we're going to to do it in fashion

we will have to overcome two bad penalties...

if we get one on our home field, just double it there

If JDM plays Fournette gets 130 yds/2 TDs
If JDM does not play Fournette gets 95 yds/1 TD

I can see that being the case. Bama likely has the best front 7 that LSU will face this year.
