Mullen's record is 69-46 at MSU? That is not very impressive.

Starkville is the Mexico of the SEC. It is near impossible to win a title there. Strange it being only 90 minutes from Tuscaloosa where they won a ton. It's just not in the cards ever at Mississippi State.

Losing to UF, if we do, plays no part in our standing in the West. Getting stunned by MSU, however, does.

Further, the situation now only allows Alabama to continue the dynasty they already have. We’ll always be 2nd or 3rd in the West with the current situation

You do realize we have to play Florida every year don’t you. Trading one powerhouse program for another is not a winning formula.

Not good for LSU, he is a damn good coach. He will recruit against us and now is our permanent foe. I would rather him in Tennessee

The Gators being garbage has significantly helped LSU. We’re git them right where we want them to be.

Remember, we still have two more games to play at UF, thanks to our idiot AD.

isn't Florida's permanent east opp?

Nothing has changed - if you don't think Florida isn't a sleeping giant, then come to reality.

This turns two tough outs into one. FU is going to be good with an average coach. State needs an elite coach.

Good for LSU if the SEC realigns the conference or makes the opposing divisions stop the permanent opponents.

Edit: well, really just the latter haha

i swear i think the collective iq of the rant is plummeting. people don't understand the op at all. the point was that the odds are state won't get another coach the caliber of mullen which gives lsu a much better shot at a west win every year. moreover, uf is assuredly going to recruit better which may cut into bama's recruiting. it's a completely valid, reasonable point. mullen is going to be an upgrade for uf in every way, shape and form. how much that affects bama remains to be seen.

now you may go back to cheering for bama to lose and whining about ensminger as oc.

Mullen won't be an elite recruiter at Florida. His offense is gimmicky and easy to recruit against. Mullen at Florida is great for Florida State and Miami because they will get the better end of the recruiting stick.

It won't affect LSU or Miami.

Are you retarded?

Mullen has reeled in some nice classes at MSU, MSU!!!

his offense is gimmicky ? how? If it works it works, you could say the same for Candas offense but like I said, if it works it works

Mullen has proven he is top notch at development of Qb's too

Also if Mullen can beat LSU's arse at MSU then he definitely could do a lot more at a school like Florida

LSU fans should not want this

It cuts into LSU's recruiting as well, probably moreso.

They don’t understand it. Louisiana education system won’t let them. Their blind hatred for Florida blinds them to this being good for LSU.

That’s actually incredible. That’s pretty good most places, especially Miss St in the SEC West
