I do not watch basketball I tell you why. Tuned in to watch a women’s game last year and all of them had BLM markings on their warmups. I turned immediately. Never watched again. Thank you.

All kinds of faux outrage and bad assumptions here. What really tops if off though are the demands for an apology while stating no excuse is good enough. Brilliant!

Literally nobody cares. You contribute nothing to society.

Maybe she wanted them focused on the game.
Maybe this came from the LSU prez. Remember the firestorm with Orgeron. With all the Grindr stuff out there maybe they did not want to risk another episode

Never in my lifetime did I think so many people would think that it was okay not to respect and stand for the National Anthem. There isn’t any other country that would think it’s okay to disrespect their National Anthem!!

I second that. As a retired Marine of 24 years of service, I wholeheartedly agree with your sentiment sir.

This feels racist
How so? People (black and white) that think America is inherently racist against black people are the ones that kneel for the anthem. Everything out of Resse's mouth lately screams that that is her worldview. I don't know this for sure, but can envision a scenario where Mulkey knows there will be kneeling and keeps them in the locker room to avoid the political controversy.

Have you been to a fricking game this year?
The Team does not come out of the locker room until after the Anthem is played. Ever.

You frickin retard.
The post is about Mulkey's teams at national championship games....not regular season games.....looks like YOU are the "retard."

I’ve never been one that cared about the anthem kneeling but I will say it was a little embarrassing they weren’t out there for the fricking National championship game Sunday
The Iowa fans near me were the ones who were questioning it the most. They seemed offended
Which in turn made me feel a bit ashamed.
Whether intentional or accidental it’s a shame they missed out on that moment.

Louisiana. First day here? You see where we rank in education? This board is a cesspool of stupidity.

As a veteran, I care a lot more about the national championship than I do whether they were on the court for the national anthem or not.
Btw…..Kim Mulkey is very patriotic and the women’s bball players were standing for the anthem at the baseball game tonight.
So…….it seems you just want your “I’m so offended” dopamine hit

Dude
If there is a scale for patriotism, I will put mine against anyone that post on this message board.
My father JOINED the army in June 1941 "because that's what you were supposed to do" and SERVERED 4 years, 10 months and 28 days in the shitty South Pacific, he had 3 brothers SERVE in the SP. I had an uncle in the 101st and dropped behind the lines at Normandy, Market Garden and fought at Bastogne. My youngest uncle SERVED in the Korea conflict. I have been to Normandy Beach and Bastogne and planning on making it to one of the SP island beaches where my father made a beach landing and survived. That said.................
I watched the game from pre-game to post-game and never even noticed the Lady Tigers were not on the court. In todays "politics and silly BS, I'm trusting the CKM is keeping the kids in the locker room to eliminate and political BS. So please STOP the "remnant of the LSU fanbase that's still patriotic" bullshite.
