When they renovate it, can they drop a court in the cow palace and have a throwback game to the Pistol era?

LSU dragging its feet on facility upgrades now. PMAC and Box need serious upgrades.

The PMAC plays a big role in other sports and events outside the basketball program as well. One of the most heavily used venues at LSU.

She proved that she doesn’t have to have a new facility to win if all.
Sure a new arena would be great to have, but in the overall scheme of things are there other more pressing needs?
I don’t know the answer, and maybe a new arena is our biggest need. Let’s see what Woody says and let’s see how they plan to pay for it.

I agree with her but it should still be named the Pete Maravich Assembly Center when it is renovated. They should also remove all non national championship coach's names from the court and have a hall of fame room like they do at the Box.

PMAC is 51 years old.
LSU has had firms doing studies/making plans since 2017. It’s time for LSU to make the call and decide whether to replace or renovate. Like has been said over and over on here, the Georgia Tech arena renovation is the starting point. Use their model and make it even better.
Between men’s & women’s basketball, gymnastics and concerts, suites in a renovated PMAC would sell instantly for a very high price.

Renovate the whole thing or build a new PMAC or some corporate sponsored arena. Add suites. Get a new floor and name it Kim Mulkey Court. Name a concourse after Brown and Gunter if you want. Play games in River Center for a couple of seasons.
