That's not really fair, and I don't know where you get 2 from.

They made it to the sweet 16, when Wade wasn't coaching. Don't know if you are giving him credit for those or not.

Then there was the Covid year, where LSU would have 100% made it and been a high enough seed to win a game or two. We can't say with any certainty what they would have won. It's not fair to say he hasn't won enough though, when there was not even a tourney one year.

Then he won 1 last year.

So it's 3 total in two years.

Wade apologists. Will he be another Dale Brown? Recruit well but never win a title? Too quick to defend and praise Wade. You haven’t learned anything from LSU’s past.

You are even dumber than I thought.

LSU isn't Kentucky, Duke, Kansas or UNC. They have a grand total of ZERO national titles in basketball. When Wade took over LSU was a complete dumb. What he has done up to this point is extremely positive, and signs point towards him building LSU into a consistent winner. Will he ever win a NC? I don't know, but I like our chances with him running the ship. Why don't you name me who wins more than him in the SEC the past four years?

If you can't comprehend this, then you are beyond help.

Wade went 6 minutes without calling a timeout letting LSU just blow the game. Very poor coaching decision.

Mulkey won her first title in her 5th year as head coach.

Hope she wins more here.

This sounds an awful lot like the tards that were ripping Aranda when he was DC here. Any counter point to the irrational bashing is deemed “apologist” which only proves you are unhinged.

How can anyone possibly know that?

Well let’s take a look at the past: 2015-16 we have the #1 pick in the draft don’t make the tournament and refuse to go to the NIT. 16-17 we go 10-21 2-16 in the SEC. 17-18 Jones fired Wade hired we improve to 8-10 in SEC make NIT win a game finish 18-15. 18-19 We go 16-2 in the SEC complete reversal in 2 years. Not only make NCAA advance to sweet 16. 19-20 we were 21-10 when season canceled would definitely have made tournament. 20-21 made final of SECT make NCAA as 8 seed lose to a 1 seed in round of 32. That was also the first time since 86 and 87 that we won a game in back to back tournaments.
This year we are 15-2. So why exactly should we not at least be optimistic?
Who do you think would be in here winning National Titles already?

I want to address the comments that Wade is a recruiter and not an X’s O’s guy.

Wade has changed his offense several times since being named head coach. People who say “better movement” clearly don’t remember the Waters, Mays, Reid group of players that we had. Smart was on that team as well.

That team had amazing ball movement.

His main issue is that he hasn’t had a great point guard since Waters, so he’s changed his method of generating points based on the personnel he has available.

He did really well at creating points by letting a good ball handler like Smart create. This year he’s done very well by generating points off missed shot turnovers.

As far as X’s and O’s, I’ve never seen a team so good at switching in man to man. The teams I have are in the nba.

His pressures all well timed and incredibly effective. His teams are never effected by press.

The guy meant to be our leading scorer had a season ending injury.

Most of you don’t know what the frick y’all are talking about.

I can see him sniffing one with the talent he is accumulating and the new defensive emphasis.

Gangsta Pear too hard headed and stubborn to recruit a Keith Hornsby to LSU, so let the chips fall where they may.

there’s like 10 schools in America who actually care about womens basketball, and when Mulkey won her first title thst number was closer to 2

and if Wade never “sniffs” a title, he’ll be in good company. like 99.9% of every other mens programs

We could only hope he would have the March success that Dale Brown had.

No timeout in 6 minutes. That’s on LSU’s coach. Having a new player will not educate a coach.

Sure hope the downvotes are because you are being critical of WW and not because they actually think WW is a better coach. She's a HOF coach right now, there is no argument who the better coach is, she's proven it.
