And there’s a 95% chance that was the last road game they will play this year.

Did those solo HRs and Milan and Curiel’s RBI slump-busters make you sad fricking up a perfectly good narrative for you to pound.

Friendly reminder: that's the same fig that was shitting on Jayden Daniels all year long during his Heisman year.

So dumb. Show me the posts where I shite on Daniels his Heisman year. If anyone on this board ever says anything other than throwing rose petals at every LSU player or coach you Floop-De-Doos lose your minds! You don’t LOVE LSU anymore than I do. Deal with it.

frick off. You are one of the few but well known trolls who never say anything unless it’s negative and promptly disappear when we take a lead and go on to win. The book has been out of you forever, fool.

Misey, nothing that positively happens for the Tigers saddens me.

I’m very happy they won today and likely locked up a top 8 seed.

You will occasionally do that and I even gave you credit for it yesterday. But you still POUND everything negative in the game thread and always seem to disappear when the clutch hits come later in the game like today. That’s just what anyone hanging around there sees.

Everyone on tRant complains. Some of us just give a lot more credit when it’s due and actually enjoy being proven wrong.

Perhaps I’m harder to please than I should be and I am definitely spoiled from growing up during a different baseball era when Bertman was dominating.

I see a 7-3 win today and am happy about the outcome. I also see what it actually may mean for their ability to make Omaha and win there. Again, I’m spoiled.

It’s totally brain dead to think that the consensus #1 team in the country with a top 8 RPI would be even a mild threat to not be a national seed. People just playing this up for clicks

Did you stay in the game thread until the end of the game, or bail when there was nothing left to complain about? We all know the answer, but I’m curious how your addled mind will try to spin it.

You also said they can’t score without hitting a homerun. Right before we scored without hitting a homerun lol. Your synopsis on just about everything baseball is very bad

I was at LSU from 93-97, so I saw the heart of our title runs live on campus. I understand being spoiled as fans. But each team is a new world, especially now in the NIL and Portal world. I’m just grateful that we are at one of the top programs and will benefit from the current system.

It’s just a different world now, especially in the SEC. During Skip’s run, maybe half of the conference really cared about baseball, and a few others would join in depending on the season. Now, every program but Mizzou is pouring money into baseball because it’s the last sport of the year that consistently draws fans to campus in numbers. It’s also grown a respectable TV audience, especially for big series and in the postseason.

Add in the fact that the draft has been shortened and more kids are heading to college to develop than in the past, and there’s just a lot more talent in the sport today. As such, the competition is always going to be a lot tougher now.
