I mean I'm just one dude and my opinion don't mean shite.. but I liked what he had to say. I know there was much more fanfare for Wade and his press conference, but I'm certainly willing to give McMahon a fair shake.
Reminds me of both Jay Johnson and Brian Kelly.. all business. Hell, he could fall flat on his face, but he at least looks and sounds the part imo.

He sounds like he has a plan and the guy can coach. I don't care how well he gives a sound byte. I care about how he recruits, develops players, and wins games. He's done that.

He dodged the Morant question. That was strange, talked about being thorough but that’s not how Morant was recruited. Kind of a face saving answer, he didn’t need to do that, nervous I guess.

I don't want to be a pessimist but I am legit just slightly concerned. About a 3 out of 10 concerned about the energy M Mac is showing in this press conference. Idk. Don't want to rag on him without seeing him actually working but man he certainly doesn't have the same sort of high energy that Wade had

Yeah Hanny got out of the NIL game pretty quick. Not sure if he elaborated, but it sounds like it wasn't what he thought it was going to be. He still does his (mostly) daily podcast (Hannycast) which is always good.

Seeing that Wade is the only LSU coach I’ve ever seen do his introductory press conference from the student union, I’m going to assume it was Will Wade’s call.

Maybe so. It was also 2017 so there were no fears about gathering dozens of students in one place. Even Johnny Jones’ pressse was in a pretty packed room, with other coaches and a few players in attendance. Seemed like today was restricted to general media. Same with Kelly’s.
