No, they are not underrated nor overlooked. They are some of the first names that come up when I think of LSU greats from the Saban era.

Some other notables:
Eric Kittok - undersized NG with a large gut. But they put him on the field and he made plays in '83.
Kevin Langford - played OG and was overshadowed by Andolsek but Kevin was a good OL in his own right.
Mike Montz - FB in '82. Only Hokie was better as a FB.
Carnell Stewart - played DT until his senior season and started at RT in '07. The '07 offense was the gold std until '19.
Rogie Magee - played WR with Wendell Davis. Not Davis good but very good nonetheless.
Jarrett Lee - most hated player in our history in '08. Stuck around and bailed us out in '10 vs UTenn, UF, and Bama as well as the start of '11.

At the time he played he wasn’t underrated, but now I believe Jamarcus is criminally underrated based on his pro career. Dude was unbelievable at lsu.
Also Perrilloux is underrated because of how it ended but the man was the best dual threat QB to ever come out of Louisiana. He was going to be the next Vince young.
