1. Billy Cannon's punt return
2. Bert Jones to Brad Davis in the "1 second" game in '72
3. Bluegrass Miracle

This is about me telling you that the Chad Jones play is the greatest and you all willfully accepting that truth.

Umm...then why is there a question mark at the end of your statement?

Too many great plays to think of....

Tyler to Fuller - Earthquake TD pass

Sammy Martin had an incredible 10 yd TD run back in the day

Herb Tyler 40 TD run against #1 UF

Cedric Donaldson INT return for TD against #1 UF

Skyler Green TD vs UGA ... the turning point in LSU football!

Flynn - Byrd AU

Ridley TD vs UT

Bluegrass Miracle

Todd Kitchen & Eddie Kennison Returns... too many to chose from

Billy Cannon Halloween Run

Bert Jones - Andy Hamilton TD pass Ole Miss

Flynn to Colt over the head behind the back fake field goal for TD

Helton to Jasper over the head behind the back bounce on the ground lateral for a first down against UF

The fake punt for a pass out of the back of the end zone against Arizona State in Les' first drive in his first LSU game was crazy (we should have known something was up with this guy then)

Too many Jamarcus Russell 4th quarter last minute TD drives to consider

Chad Jones punt return most spectacular? Great run, but not even close.

Flynn to Byrd was spectacular. But if he doesn't catch it LSU kicks the field goal and wins.

The Chad Jones punt return was spectacular, but I think a different Chad Jones splay should be up there. When he sacked John Parker Wilson causing him to fumble in the 07 Alabama game beats the punt return.

A couple more, none of which I would consider "the best", but I think they belong in the top 20 or 30:

The fake FG vs South Carolina

Troy Twillie interception in the north endzone vs Auburn

That may have been a fluke the other poster's estimation but it WAS the most spectacular play in LSU football history.

+1000

Baseball: 9th inning Warren Morris HR against Miami for the title.

Basketball: Too many from Pete Maravich to choose from, but he definitely has the top ten.

Billy Cannon's punt return was HUGE...and the Blue Grass Miracle is easily the most "spectacular" play in LSU football history!

But...not counting flukes...its easy!

Wendell Davis caught a pass at Miss State that I believe got called back. Prettiest catch in LSU History...they used to have a picture of it in the North Endzone at Tiger Stadium on the Westside.

Totally AWESOME catch!

And when you take into consideration...non-importance...it has to be that.

Taking into consideration the game...Ali Highsmith's sack against Ohio State was HUGE!!!

In my lifetime i would say Skylar Green against UGA in 2003 or Flynn to Byrd to beat Auburn in 2007.

Skylar Green catching the TD pass in the north end zone against Georgia in '03. Most spectacular to me because it was fricking insane to be in that stadium when it happened.

My answer for ANY best game, play, atmosphere, etc.
