That’s fine, we’ll just win the series quicker

I heard baseball players will actually melt if they get even slightly wet

I looked in the past for SEC series that did a double header on a Thursday. Just found one: Auburn @ Vandy in May of 2016.

Think this is possible for LSU and SC?

Thursday would be the only day to get 2 in. Friday- Sunday looks like a wash here in SC.

Would suck to travel all the way to only play 1 game. I dont think they can even play on Sunday unless the SEC changed that dumb rule. Maybe its diff. this week since everyone plays Thu-Sat.

They can't play Sunday thanks to their Thur-Sat rules.

I think the only thing they changed was that there was no travel restrictions on Sat when series starts on Thurs
It's possible they only get two in and you have to live with it if rain doesn't allow three to be played

I get it. But you can't have guys throwing 90+ mph with a wet ball. There is a reason that for the nearly 200 years the sport has existed the game isn't played in the rain

secsports.com is showing Kentucky-Georgia is playing Fri-Sat-Sun. I heard the same as you, all teams playing Thu-Sat. I don't know, maybe the site is wrong.

I'm about an hour away from Columbia. Area weather is 90-100% chance of rain Fri/Sat/Sun. Of course it could be different but not looking good in general. Temps also go from 80's Fri to mid 50's over the weekend.

They play in the rain until the field conditions get to be a problem or until lightning strikes. IDK why people think baseball players don't play when it rains.

I always thought the home team was given the choice to host on Easter Sunday or not.
