You’d love that wouldn’t you?

This.

They have to love Coach O due, in part, to their hatred of Les Miles. They feel Coach O's success will validate their hatred of Miles.

Well no! He has been let go twice when the HC he worked for left or was let go.

If being fired previously was a disqualifier, an awful lot of excellent coaches would not have jobs!

Praise and glory to our savior Mott Mascona

Let's see what O has done at LSU.

He has sucked at winning
He has sucked at recruiting
He's not Jimbo or Tom
He's made a few mistakes and should be tortured and then fired, right?

lol at you ignorant m'fers

Not much of a difference in reality.

Orgeron = Capo
Aranda = underboss
Canada = underboss
Ensminger = captain
Raymond= Captain

Players = soldiers

If you as a Capo or boss find out one of your underbosses or Capi are talking shite about you behind your back and hurting the cohesiveness of the organization.....well, then maybe you have to push a button and break some eggs.

The legit world is very much the same.....minus the double tap

So Les should’ve fired Orgeron?

Objectively, yes, but Orgeron was sort of forced on him.

Listen, he never let the guy run his offense entirely. He basically did what Miles became known for and that's constantly interrupting what the offensive coordinators were trying to do to run the bullshite that he wanted to run. And I could see if he knew what he was doing or talking about, but he got damn doesn't know what the hell he's doing or talking about which is why he failed so badly at Ole Miss. Just shut the hell up and stay out the way, you said you would anyways when you got this job, now an OC is gone because of this fool.

Maybe his tweaking helped the team get better.

Ed Orgeron is a defensive line coach.

The only time he should be talking to an offensive coordinator during a game is on 4th down.

He told us he’d Hire a top notch OC and let him do his job. He lied.

Apparently you have never had any type of managerial experience and had real responsibility in any leadership capacity.

1) Good Managers sometimes make hiring mistakes
2) Effective managers correct their hiring mistakes

From a leadership and management perspective, Orgeron F'd up on the front end, but was smart enough to fix the f-up before it got any further . Unlike Miles who brought in Cameron who could not develop shite as a OC (hell he was fired from the Ravens and then the Ravens went on to win the SB) and was allowed to stay around for 3.5 years.

You are asking the wrong question, IMO.

This is a tough situation that I'm sure Orgeron wouldn't have chosen this time last year when Canada was hired. But, the situation itself isn't the end of the world. And, it happens all of the time.

It's much more important to see who is the replacement. For example, if he just gives the job to Ensminger because he can't find someone else, that would be very bad, IMO.

But, if he hires someone like Freeze for example to be OC or defacto OC with Ensminger being OC in name only, there is a real chance LSU comes out of this in a better position than we were a year ago.

We have to see how this plays out.

I don't agree with this. We saw Canada's offense in every game but the first half of Troy.

I think he failed...not lied. But, the cost hasn't been great. And, he has an opportunity to fix the situation. Personally, I want to see where this ends up.
