Yeah, those rants seems so forced. He never used to get angry like that in past years. And when Saban retired it was nuts. Acting like he couldn’t breathe or talk, and kept having to take commercial breaks.

Not sure if Moscona hit of this, but another case for Brown playing everyday is there isn’t a considerable drop off in his splits when facing righties and lefties. He hits lefties well.

I think Frey, Brown, Pearson and even Larson have all had their moments of being really hot. But in my opinion every time one of them gets plugged into the starting lineup for a few games in a row they seem to cool off. I’m not saying I always agree with Jay’s decisions but I absolutely understand why he is rotating those guys. If you want to harp on how good Brown is yesterday and say he should always start no question then, also harp on the games when he doesn’t play well.

Brown got off to a hot start, but had cooled off quite a bit. That's why I was saying he hadn't been swinging it well for a couple of weeks. And Frey has had some batted ball misfortune, but has hit it hard when he's not striking out. He, like most of the guys, is striking out a bit too often lately.
But yeah, If we're going to bench someone, I'd think it would be Pearson, though it's not like he's been bad.
