I didn't get any alerts on my phone during the game about active shooters on campus, so that is a start.

I walked to several tailgates and never once smelled weed.

Everyone seemed to be behaving and having a good time, and I hit areas around the parade grounds, the Tureaud Hall area, and the Indian Mounds.

Have we maybe turned the corner away from the trash that infiltrated things for a while last year?

Buddy of mine is on the Board of supervisors for the LSU Foundation and sat in the chancellors suite for the game. Wade told him that Landry was not fricking around with the safety concerns. The police presents that was seen also had a huge contingent of officers/national guard on standby and ready if needed.

Plenty of weed smell on the union side of the parade grounds after 4 when that side finally showed up to tailgate

Is everyone pretty much in agreement that all was good? I haven't seen or heard any horror stories like we had last year.

LSU would be stupid to allow a repeat of that. Despite rumors of a "takeover" on the parade grounds, it seemed like business as usual around campus. What happened last year was an embarrassment to the university and hopefully the LSU administration makes sure that it never happens again.

A couple of friends with a long-standing tailgate spot on the parade grounds ended up having some of the black frats relocated next to them. They all said that it was fine, and that perhaps integrating the groups was a good thing. Everyone had fun.

I hope that the higher-ups havw accomplished their mission of making the riff-raff feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.

I walked by unity field, and that area definitely smelled like weed from a 100 yards away

Isn't Unity Field closed for tailgating?

Keep that Ghetto Trash off the campus of the University of LSU on game days!

There was a bigger police presence on that campus yesterday than I have ever seen in the forty plus years I've been going to an LSU game.

It's presence. Police PRESENCE.

If you're going to be a dick about it, at least get it right.

Unity had no shortage of 20 officers full time on patrol. You didn’t smell it coming from Unity. Piss off with the lies
