I thought for sure we were gonna get a targeting call there and lose a key guy for ole miss first half

You know the younger brother is usually the best because the older brothers beat him up for years and toughened him up quite a bit.

I'm the youngest but have 3 way older sisters, and they beat me up until I got to 15 or 16, and grew to 6' 3". Then I got some bravery and retribution which felt really good lol...

Watched the play again a few times. It was Allen.

It looked like Major Burns did the heavy lifting on that play. Weeks helped, but he was running laterally, so he didn’t have the leverage that Burns had.

It looked bad in real time for sure. But in slo-mo it was impressive that they never contacted his head in the least. His own pads slid up and pushed his helmet off when they lifted him. Was a great play all around for the defense.

Burns stops him and Weeks lays the wood

What i saw in slow motion is that 8 made the first contact by the would have scored if Weeks didn't stop him in his tracks. Basically a semi whiff by Burns.

Haha. He scores easily without Burns and probably without Weeks. It took three guys to stop him. The safety who whiffed forced him to Burns who stopped his momentum. Then Burns and Weeks hauled him backwards.

With any luck, they would've assumed it was Major Burns.

A man can dream.
