it's a distraction. But it will make some great editorial pieces!

She already had a great Soccer career, a great academic and social career and now a great graduate career and God bless her if she really wants to try out for the team, but she will not make it....and if she does...she will never see the field.

truth....but keep bashing me.

She is using LSU to further her career. Isn't that what college is for? Do you think LSU is not benifiting from this as well?

Do have a problem with her trying out, buy not sure how LSU is benefitting?

Get your panties out of twist. Seriously sounds like you didn't get to try out, and now you're crying about it. Try thinking out of something other than your arse. It's a damn TRY OUT. She may not beat out the guy we have right now. But she could. That's why she's TRYING OUT. We had more than one person do kickoffs last year. Is it not possible she takes one of those spots?

Why are you so butt hurt over this?

apparently, you cannot say anything negative about Mo Isom on the Rant...

And for those who think she out-kicked Wing...I have nothing to say to you.

Once again, she is a wonderful young lady...

She may not make the team, and she may not ever see the field if she does, what does it matter to you?

I think people are bashing you because you're calling someone you don't know an attention whore for trying out for the football team.

Again, what does it matter to you?

PTI: LSU to try female kicker out at Spring practice

ESPN: Alabama turns focus to third national title in five years; enters spring practice.

I agree. Personally, I'm deeply concerned how her "trying out" to be kicker in early March will effect LSU's other kickers performances in Sept. I've heard rumblings that Alleman and Wing have though about transfering because of the distractions this woman, nay, modern day Billy Jean King, has caused.

You are aware that PTI is an ESPN product, right?

Besides, ESPN is so far up Bama and Saban's arse that it's not funny, so what do you expect?

She's awesome, and I hope she makes the team. Did you really think she "out-kicked" Wing though? Wing was pretty damn impressive in that video, and they were having fun. That said, I don't see how any LSU fan can have a problem with Mo Isom... I think she is an outstanding representative of the university and the athletic department.

+10000.

Great PR for the whole University. Teen Wolf must be on his period. She is and has been everything you want from an LSU student/athlete and she's not ready to let that life go yet. Neither do we want to see that beautiful, sexy, athletic...ok that's enough . This just makes the University look better to the public.

We should be focused on preparing to win the West, SEC, and National title...not having even one hour's worth of a tryout for someone who will not make the team, but create a media sensation and shift the focus of this team.

Spring football practice is a time to fine tune your skills and WORK...not wonder if Mo is gonna make the team....or be asked by ten different reporters what you think about the female kicker tryout.

Say what you want, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who has a sour taste in their mouth after Jan. 9 and I want this team focused with no distractions...all it takes is one bad game to ruin a perfect season.

IF they were gonna do this crap, they should have done it pre-spring.
