The Mariners would strongly consider Hernandez but one of the college southpaws seems more plausible. The best college sophomore available, Anderson has a more traditional delivery than Doyle and a quality four-pitch mix that has him challenging for the D-I strikeout lead in his first season as a weekend starter.

SEC Notables:

2. Liam Doyle, Tennessee
3. Kade Anderson , LSU
9. Jace LaViolette, Texas A&M
11. Kyson Witherspoon, Oklahoma
18. Gavin Kilen, Tennessee
21. Ike Irish, Auburn

He has definitely earned it with both dominant and gutty performances!

Rankings and mock drafts aren't the same thing.

Thread title made me think they were making fun of Kade.... but I'm a little slow minded.

Hard to believe this dude is that highly rated. That avg is falling like a rock now that he is playing consistently in the SEC. Same ole Kilen that played at Louisville. Down to .297 in conference after missing half the SEC season. Only 16 conference games played at this point.

Dickinson seems like a much better prospect

Yeah - people gushing over his numbers were entirely unaware that the majority of his production came in the non con before he got hurt. He’s only played i think 4 weekends in conference, and, as you said, his numbers keep getting worse.

Dickinson also plays a great 2nd base. Kilen is a brutal glove.

Would be hilarious in an alternate universe if they did do that. Just roast all these future 1st rounders on the home page relentlessly, make sure they're humble.

No shite. But someone asked "What Round is Anthony Eyanson projected in?"

The mock draft only shows 27 picks, and Eyanson isn't in it. That is why I posted the ranking of both he and Anderson for context.

So we beat all of the following pitchers and play and/or will play about 20% of this whole list before we even reach the post season. Unless I missed one we got a win against every single pitcher we faced that is on this list. We still have to face Root though.

Love kade, but i just dont see him going top 3, maybe he has a deal to sign for less with someone and it works out. His stuff is good, and command is great, just figure most of these teams would rather take on a prospect with more velocity that early in the draft

One weekend in front of a bunch of scouts reversed these two in the draft. Before the A&M series, Anderson was slotted to the Reds @#9. They had Laviolette @#2 pretty recently.

He’s a lefty, so he can give up some velocity to other prospects and be ok.

he still throws mid 90s and I have seen him ramp it up to like 96-97 which is fast enough for a 20 year old.
