MLB Scouts at the Thursday Night Game

Was roaming around the standing room only area above home plate for an inning and noticed at least 5 scouts watching. Saw one with an Angels backpack and another team’s scout next to him with a notebook open that had the word Crews written up top followed by metrics and stats scribbled below. I’m sure the scouts enjoyed the atmosphere at the game. Always a positive sight to see and it reaffirms that Jay is putting our program in the driver’s seat again

They said on the broadcast last night that over 75*** scouts requested tickets

I saw the Rockies scout and another one but couldn't figure out team. It's pretty neat because they look at them during batting practice.
They were probably mad because there wasn't enough room for all of them.

I thought they said 75, but either way, that’s a lot. Crews and Skenes may go 1 and 2 in the draft.

they sunk a ton of money into re-signing Trout and an old Albert Pujols. You need more than 2 players to win in baseball. Griffey, Arod, E Martinez, Randy Johnson, etc were all on the same team and they missed the playoffs in 1996 and 1998.

2 scouts by me. Florida Marlins and Cleveland Guardians. There was also a big latino guy walking around and sat by them. Somebody said he was with the Mets.

Should have told them. If they are lucky enough to be picking and Skenes or Crews are there, no thinking needed, just pick them.
