I can think of 4 reasonable candidates right off the top of my head

Yea and the sad thing is they aren't bad players. Just when you end up with this much depth, some players don't get the chance to "come around" like Kramer proved is possible. Always hate to see transfers for no other reason than a guy wanted to be a Tiger and now he's gotta go elsewhere. Just part of the business.

Have you accounted for Valek and Devall being seniors?
Yeah, they were 49 and 50. It has every publicly known commit and everyone with remaining eligibility. There is a chance it's not accurate, though because as hard as I search, recruiting info is still tough to come by.

I get what you are saying but if YOU were put in that position then I am willing to bet alot of money that you would leave. When you have multi millions looking you in the face it would take a crazy person to say no.

Brennan Breaux is there along with Jake Mangnum are on the roster with Bourne. Only 3 other outfielders on listed roster so that could be a decent place for him to land and get some reps in the outfield.

Least prestigious sport in NCAA? You sure about that?
No i am not, which is precisely why i qualified it with the word arguably.

no kidding I can't imagine trying to figure all of this out

It's not even arguably in the argument...there are about 50 more "least prestigious" sports.

I enjoy researching the info and I'm using it to become more proficient in excel (I also track stats, including summer league), so it's a win-win for me.
I'm glad to know that people appreciate it though.

All that matters is that it's so far below the cut off line to where you would make decisions based on your legacy within it.

From this point forward you're responsible for every eligible draftee staying or signing. Good luck. God speed.

To which I whole-heartedly agree with you.

Nevermind. Here's to hoping Riley Pint comes to LSU

KRob is a future coach not the next Derek Jeter.
The 3rd base coach in Batilmore is Bobby Dickerson from East St John. He was just like KROB tuff as nails but was never going to make an MLB roster. He was always going to be a coach. Got to AA with Cubs and rest is history.

This was the first thing I thought when Lester said only Poche and Fraley will sign. If that happens, we're talking about a lot of attrition from the current roster.
I was only including current players, fwiw.
But I keep seeing people saying Newman is gone. What am i missing here?

I can only think that being a red shirt junior and possibly already having finished school or being really close might play into it.

Deichmann is a total wildcard. Raw. 50/50

Poche, Fraley, and Newman will all sign.
Robertson if taken in the top 10 rounds will say a lot about his willingness to sign.
Deichmann should return and would greatly benefit from a third year in college (only 2 full seasons).
Reynolds, Stallings, and Bugg will all generate interest in the later rounds.

Agree with this 100%. Really wish Newman would come back, but 4 years and a degree may be enough for him to leave.
Deichmann has monster potential for a 3rd year here.
Mid relievers are tough to gauge. Stallings throwing mid 90's could intrigue somebody.
Really hope Kramer comes back. A little power seems to be coming out of his bat towards the end of this year.
