What the frick??? I NEVER said that. You don’t “member”. I was the one calling him GOATbrera even through his early struggles. Some of y’all really are obsessed with me. Mentioning me in threads I don’t post in and then making up things I never said. Sad!

Self-fulfilling prophecy anyone? Two posters attack me without provocation and it's MY fault?

And this just goes to show how little you pay attention. I've posted very little about baseball this year (compared to other years). Hardly any posts in game threads or daily threads. For everyone who thinks I'm super crazy negative and hate everything, I should have been having a field day, right?

I agree. It may not show in there, but I've got a ton of respect for Lester as a poster. Although that may not be returned.

Well I was told that everyone should be 5'5 because once a short guy made the AL All-Star Game.

At the end of it all, we had two so so choices; neither was the answer.

Slaughter brought some pop, still Ked a lot and made errors.

Reid may have gotten on base a few more times, and he probably would have been steadier in the field; however, he was never going to hit the big home run or be able to spark the team.

Only true rantards can turn a thread about the MLB draft into a Slaughter vs Reid and size of current LSU players debate.

While I agree that Slaughter made too many errors, I'd argue that he made plays that Reid would be incapable of making having more range and better reaction. His Ks were also way down, too. And compared to Reid, they had almost the exact same K-rate (Slaughter's was only slightly better).

Just like any good rumor or myth, the story keeps changing. Started at 5'6"-5'8" players, and now we're down to 5'5".

We'll have been fielding a team full 5', 100 lbs. players in no time!

Yes, Slaughter is more athletic and did have more range. I said Reid was steadier in the field, but I see his limitation.

Slaughter did improve. That was obvious.

I've got Slaughter at 18.5% K-rate this year compared to 26% last year. Numbers would change slightly if you counted sacs.

I didn't know the stats, but I noticed he was striking out less.

I had no issues with him playing.
