Look, the rant is a great place. I love coming on here and reading about LSU sports. The unfortunate issue with the rant is that every retard with a keyboard can start topics and post about whatever they want.
I understand the psychological aspect of saying negative things on here, hell I do it quite often. Something bad happens, tiger fan gets mad, instead of punching a wall they go on here to vent frustrations. That's all well and good. No problem with that.
But the rant likes to go with the flow, most people don't stay steady with what they believe. The same people that want CPM fired aren't saying that shite after we just beat MSU by 10. Where are they? Where are all the posts and outrage?
They gone. Until we lose again. That's a negatiger. I think there should be a post requirement to start topics on the rant personally

This is awesome!! God to see that we’re not the only ones out there with passionate fans, albeit sometimes irrational, quick to judge, and often ignorant about literally what it takes to be successful in D1 athletics. While I’ve been guilty of all of the above, I’ve also learned that student-athletes need fan support most when they’re struggling, not when they’re doing well. It’s tough to do, but it’s what real fans do. So go ahead, Rant, Fire away!!

So you want them to be negative after a big win? One game doesn't change the view on a coach, but not sure why you want people to be negative after this game.

People wanted CPM fired in 2017 before the Bama game. Then we go on our run and no one utters a word about it until 2018. If you want the dude fired, have some fricking conviction. If we go on another run and make it to Omaha, those same frick boys will disappear until next season.

Agree. When the level of play seems to drop consistently, then people will get mad. That’s the issue I see more often than not. For example, going into the SEC tournament, the team went 4-5 the last 3 weekends.
Look deeper.
Hess blew that save against AU. Ole Miss, won after the big comeback. Something that actually happened again against state in game 2 of the tourney, At Arky, the team did nothing except pitch fairly well and Dups HR. It could have easily been 6-3 or 3-6 those last 3 series.
Would the fans have bitched about 6-3? Nope, but 3-6, CPM would have had voodoo dolls made of him with pitch forked armed mobs in his driveway.
This game is a game of twists and turns.. amazing sport...

I mean, he's going to be a draft eligible sophomore and barring injury will be picked high enough to get a mil plus and bypass the lowest levels of the minor leagues.

LSU's fan base actually handles success very well. We're known for being very hospitable to opposing fan bases. Inviting them to tailgates to share food and alcohol. Applauding opposing teams for making good plays in Alex Box.
We don't poison our rivals historic trees, commit domestic violence when our team loses, murder each other when our team loses, beat each other up in the stands, tea-bag rival fans while they sleep in their own hometown, have weird homo-erotic cheers, etc.
The worst LSU fans do is buy complaint billboards in rival SEC towns, yell 'tigerbait' in jest and suggest you should suck our mascots dick to our favorite song.
