There is a special place in hell for people who get married on Saturdays in the fall.

I hate selfish arse people that get married on Saturdays other than LSU's bye week during college football season

Is the wedding in Abita Springs?

When they set the date the mother of the bride said "what's more important, the LSU game or my daughter"

Brides parents could care less about LSU or football

I got married on the home opener in '95 (Auburn I think). One of my best friends missed, but I didn't blame him.

That's what happens when you let the womenz call the shots.

I refused to get married during football season or baseball season. I miscalculated on our basketball team, and wound up getting married the night we beat A&M to get to the sweet 16. I had one of my ushers feeding my father in law the scores, who in then relayed them to me while we were still at the altar. I knew the score by the time we walked back down the isle!

I didn't go to my sister's second wedding because it was the night of an LSU game.

Missed sisters wedding in 08 BC of Bama game.
Me my dad uncle and grandpa missed cousins wedding in 07 auburn game.
My brother is getting married sept 5. Everyone knows where we will be.

I will not miss a home game for any reason except. Wife goes into labor or a close death in the family.

Wow. Your sister and brother's weddings? And for McNeese State? Holy shite dude.

I hope you're on good terms with Brandon Harris and LF because you sure as hell wouldn't be on good terms with me if I was your sibling.

Austin.

Looks like I'll be bringing along a pair of ear buds and pulling up Hawthorne on the mobile app.

#1: Wut?

#2: I could see planning a wedding on the weekend of Bama or Auburn to be intentionally causing drama. McNeese State seems like a pretty good compromise to me.

Had that happen in 2013 the night of the Arkansas game. Went to Baton Rouge, tailgated all day, got hammer drunk. Enjoyed the game, hitched a ride to Metairie, took a drunk shower, got dressed, and caught a cab downtown. I arrived just in time for the reception. A man's gotta have priorities.
