Expected Miss St players to be confident coming into BR, after smashing Aub, the State defense is as good as advertised, Coach O says Miss St. defense has the talent to apply pressure with just four up front, but will also blitz. State will represent a challenge for LSU’s O-Line.

Not sure if LSU fans respect State enough, just hope Coach O ensures that LSU players come in ready for a war. State is vastly improved, so is LSU, Tiger fans could be the boost that carries LSU over the top.

I don't think any LSU fan or player is sleeping on Mississippi State after last year.

State will be a challenge period...they are like 5th or something in the FBS on Defense for points allowed...They also feel disrespected after beating us by 30 and we schedule them for homecoming.

with an off week coming i see no reason for our team not to be amped up for this game. The coaches and team leaders should have us fired up. I really think we will play our best game of the year.

There is a revenge factor that will keep LSU focused on this game

I can guarantee that this game was circled long before the season started. They embarrassed us during the game, and disrespected us after the game. No way these guys are going to forget it. I expect LSU and Death Valley to unleash hell on these poor souls of MSST.

I just don't see this being a let-down in light of last year's arse whipping. I'm legit concerned about playing @A&M

Going into this season, Mississippi State was said to have the best front 7 in the SEC.

So, no, this game will be no cake walk. Luckily, Dan Mullen isn't coaching this State team.

MSU ran for almost 300 yards on LSU last year

If we aren't fired up to kick their shite, there's nothing that could motivate us

shite, if we play like we are capable, we should beat miss st. They arent going to overlook anyone after what happened at florida. The tigers will be ready for this game, book it. LSU is the better more talented team, as we always are against state, and should win. The loss to florida this season, and the loss to state last year, are in our players minds, believe that. There will be no overlooking this game or the rest of the season. The tigers know they have everything in front of them for the taking still and they can't lose another game or that goes out of the window. LSU wins this game Saturday night in death valley, and gets ready for a week off to prepare for the huge showdown vs bama!
