Something like 19 runs and 20 walks given up by the bullpen in under 7 innings over two games, against the worst team in the league.

Only thing I can think of is they’re learning. Like. Let’s see if he can throw 18 change ups in a row in a pressure situation because this game, though we care, doesn’t matter THAT much.

But seeding matters or there wouldn’t be seeding.
I don’t get the pitch selection, their mechanics are all fubar, and bring Cooper in now is mind boggling. He isn’t what he was last year.
They’re college kids. Maybe they all got drunk last night. Maybe they didn’t get laid. Who knows.

I can’t believe Johnson did such a poor job addressing the bullpen going into this year. He fricking knew that was the weakness on this team and didn’t get it fixed.

I didn’t love pulling money just due to how many outs left in the game. However, he had a walk and 2 hits in his 6 batters faced. He also had a line drive that was caught.
